Boo! My name's LayCee, I've been around for about 19 years, and have been RPing for 7+. I found Ghost Town via the fact I made it >___>, and I shall haunt it for the rest of eternity... MOAHAHHA!

IS IT BRIGHT WHERE YOU ARE?

So, my birth given name is Lucas Martin Smith, but my friends call me Luke, Look Ass. I was born on November 13th, and am now 29. My hometown is Chicago, Illinois, my families Italian and German, though, go figure! I currently make money at the Crime Labas a Forensic Scientist.

AND HAVE THE PEOPLE CHANGED?

You probably want to know what I look like, right? Well tons of people say I resemble Zacky Vengeance a lot! If you don't know who he/she is, then let me break it down for you. The hair is black, usually cut to a short length, with some fringe. Sometimes colors are added and subtracted, and cuts changes.. Green colored eyes, show the emptiness in my soul. Yeah, that's a load of shit, but oh well!. Around 5'8", and then 142. My clothing style though is, varying. I have some/no body mods: Snakebites, septum, gauged ears and several tattoos.

DOES IT MAKE YOU HAPPY YOU'RE SO STRANGE?

I like: Poker, Jack Daniels, Loud Music, Fast Cars, General Amusement, The Unknown, Things that make you say 'Ew Gross' (like woodchipped bodies), TAPS and other investigations.. But I really dislike High society, tourists, people who mess with ouji and spirit boards irresponsibly, trash on the highway, early mornings. I'm pretty rad at guitar, multi managing, pissing spirits off, and science, but a lot of people say I whine too much. Oh well! I have these terrible habits like nail biting and cussing. Wanna get me in the mood? Because I really like: Independance, tenacity, bad assness, and those who posess the ability to think for themselves. You won't be seeing me again if you act like an idiot, bastard or otherwise impleasant individual, though, so whatch it. I fear death, even though I'm constantly surrounded by it. I guess for my general personlity someone would say:

So I already told you where I was born, Chicago, but not about my parents. My first parent's name was Mario he did wind energy tech for a living, the second, Leslie, did general housework, but held a nursing degree. The whole story? Well... it goes a little something like this:

“As a child, Lucas was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Attending school like every average kid, Luke took and exceptional interest in the science aspect. Afterall, it provided hard evidence where it was needed most. It didn't take him long until he wanted and desired to become a forensic scientist. No one could really explain why, but his parents figured it was merely a phase. However, by the time he hit middleschool, he was the hard core science nerd - minus the pocket protector.

He was better than the average geek - he could actually speak to people, and he was personable. Because of his interest and knowledge in all aspects of death in science and how it could convict or save a man from death row, it got him in rather tight with the 'bad' crowd. He didn't party too bad, but to say he was completely innocent would be an understatement.

When he was 16, his parents lifted their roots and moved to good old Savannah, Georgia. He didn't really care for it. It was hot as hell, and everyone seemed to speak like a fucking hick. He spent many nights brooding in his room, pissed at the world for no real reason. Then, he met ________. _______ was a fellow science enthusiast, but her talents reigned beyond that. She was from New York, and she also wasn't too please with the fact that she'd been centered in the south. Luke and _____________ became friends, and then more.

They graduated high school, and each of them went to college. They were different colleges - putting a strain on their relationship, but they still worked at it. He can recall the night the got the call, "Luke, either I'm pregnant or I'm having really weird stomach viruses that occur every morning." His retort had simply been, "Huh." He was one year into earning a degree in biology. And he knocked up his girlfriend. That was splendid. Despite the obvious struggle it was going to be,

Nine months later the couple was overwhelmed with college courses and a newborn baby girl. Luke decided to take the punch, and would stay home, completing courses online, while managing household duties and taking over baby care. Never in his life had he been more uninterested in sex. He saw what it produced - and it liked to eat, cost money, poop and wake him up in the middle of the night.

_________ had been commuting to and from her school - as she had been in courses for pre med - when she was involved and killed in an accident. Luke was at a loss. Mackenzie was now two years old, and he would learn that life was going to get very, very complicated.

The job. The baby. The expenses. None of it left him anytime to further pursue his degree, though his studies in such a field did allow him to get a well paying job. Thankfully his parents watched their granddaughter while he was off to his job, and it became apparent that Lucas hadn't the time to mourn the loss of his girlfriend. He was too busy making sure there was a roof over their daughters head and food on her plate. When she got older and headed off for school, Luke did the same - sort of. He had time to sit down and continue his education. He earned his degree in forensic science, and his life became infinately better.

With Mackenzie's aging, came interests. Dance lessons. Gymnastics. Horse riding lessons. Art lessons. Hair. Fashion. As she aged, he began realizing that she was slowly becoming more girly.

Throught friends and television, he discovered the world of the paranormal at a new depth and it intrigued him. There was a challenge behind such a thing - he couldn't prove it, or disprove it. No one could. He became highly involved in investigations, then came Mackenzies fear of ghosts. Oh what a lovely little phase that had been. He would thoroughly check under her bed for the boogie man, and in her closet for poltergeists, though the young child never trusted his bare eyes. She was smarter than that - her daddy always used little gadgets to find things. He had a new idea. He equipped Mackenzie with an EMF detector, letting her see for herself that there was nothing to fear - and thank god his house wasn't haunted.

Mackenzie is eight years old, and Luke thoroughly enjoys being a father.”
